The Moses Mabhida Durban Stadium is a stadium that has been constructed to host matches during the 2010 Football World Cup. Constructed on the site of the King’s Park Soccer Stadium in Durban, the Moses Mabhida Durban Stadium promises to be one of the most advanced visually impressive football stadiums in the world.
The 80,00 capacity Moses Mabhida Durban Stadium is located in the King’s Park Sports Complex in close proximity to the Durban central business district. The stadium design bears some similarities to England’s Wembley Stadium, and features a 350 meter long free span arch that will transform the Durban skyline.
