Theme

The theme is based on arcade style fighting games. When you first enter the game you select from 1 of 5 available characters just as you would in an arcade fighting game. This character now represents you and in order for the bonus feature to be triggered your character has to appear on reel 2 at the same time that the ‘Bison’ character appears on reel 4.

Graphics

The game communicates the theme of an arcade style fighting game well. The graphics are consistent with the theme and help to sustain and develop it. The game icons could be a little more interesting and relevant though (what the ring of skulls on a chain is meant to symbolize is a complete mystery)

Sound

Unfortunately the game developers let an opportunity slip when they created the sound for the game. When the game is launched an introductory piece of music sets the scene, but once complete there is no further background sound at all. The sounds when the reels spin and for highlighting wins don’t really pick up on the arcade game theme at all.

Bets

The available coin size is from £0.01 to £20.00 and there are 25 lines, so the bet size can range from anywhere between £0.01 and £500.

Payouts

The top payout is 5,000 x the line bet and is won when the reels stop on 5 ‘draw’ symbols in a row. On a bet of £0.01 per line the payout would be a healthy £50.00. The rest of the paytable is pretty standard for a game of this type.

Features

The bonus feature is triggered when your ’substitute’ symbol appears on reel 2 and the ‘Bison’ symbol on reel 4. An arcade style matchoff ensues.
