Keno is one of the oldest casino games in the world, and has roots stretching back to antiquity. This game is essentially a variation on the numbers lottery offered in many countries, and has been adapted to casinos to provide gamers with an easy, exciting way of testing their luck. While Keno is rarely found in regular casinos, a number of keno formats are offered by leading online casinos.
A game of casino begins with players selecting between 2 and 10 numbers from the Keno table. The value of the numbers runs from 1-80, and players can only select any number once. Clicking on a number twice will de-select that number.
Once numbers have been selected, the player has the option to choose how many rounds to play the number selection for. Players can choose to play the number selection from 1 to 5 rounds. Once the ‘play’ button is pressed 20 numbers are drawn randomly by the online keno game.
Online casinos can offer a number of variations on the Keno casino game. These include:
Keno Xperiment: Keno Xperiment is similar to regular Keno, but automatically played over 5 rounds. Players have the opportunity to get the Keno game to make random number selections prior to each round of play, or to make a single random selection for all rounds of play. Keno Xperiment can also be played using regular Keno rules.
