A treble is a multiple bet, which wagers a single stake on three selections. All three of the selections chosen must win their events to generate a return.
Example:
A punter places a $5 treble bet on:
Manchester United winning the Premier League at 3/1
Everton winning the FA Cup at 7/1
Chelsea winning the Champions League at 5/1
If Manchester United wins the Premier League the $20 payout will be automatically wagered on Everton for the FA Cup. If Everton is successful the $160 payout will then be wagered automatically on Chelsea winning the Champions League.
If Chelsea wins the Champions League the bet will generate a return of $960. If any of the selections fail to win their bets, both the stakes and the accumulated winnings will be forfeited and the bet will lose.
