Situated beside the historic Warwick castle in Warwick, England, Warwick racecourse is one of the most popular multi-purpose racing venues in England with national hunt and flat racing scheduled throughout the year. Racing at Warwick dates back at least 200 years, with the first spectator facilities built in 1808.
The Warwick racecourse flat racing course covers a distance of 1 mile 6 furlongs. The left-handed course has an unusually geometric shape with a 5½ furlong straight for sprints. The 1 mile 5 furlong national hunt course runs along the inside of the flat racing course and is known for tight corners and a short run-in.
