Folkestone Racecourse
Folkestone racecourse is the only racecourse in Kent and is situated within a short distance of the Channel Tunnel. Once a camp for the armies of Queen Elizabeth I, Folkestone is now a popular multi-purpose racecourse that hosts racing all year round.
The Folkestone racecourse flat racing track is a right-handed 1ΒΌ mile oval with a 3 furlong run in. The national hunt track at Folkestone racecourse features a right-handed 1 mile 2 furlong oval. Both tracks have an undulating surface.
