The BA-CA Tennis Trophy is one of two ATP International Series Gold Tour events held annually in Austria. The BA-CA Tournament is played at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, and play takes place on indoor hard court. The tournament draws a field of 32 players, who compete for over $1 million in prize money.
The BA-CA Tennis Trophy was first played in 1973. Over the years it has featured some of Europe’s most famous players in a selection of classic hard court matches. However, the tournament is famed for Jimmy Connors’ theatrics in 1992, when he entered the main court wearing no shorts, and then went on to wear and change several pairs of shorts during the course of the match.
BA-CA Tennis Trophy Betting
The BA-CA Tennis Trophy is hosted towards the end of the tennis season, when indoor hard court tennis is at its peak. The tournament therefore has little competition from other events, and receives adequate coverage from online bookmakers in the United Kingdom.
