Real Madrid, the Spanish team that has dominated the UEFA Champions League over the years, will resume their chase for an unprecedented tenth title when they face Liverpool later today.

Madrid coach, Juande Ramos, has intimated that his men are ready to battle to the proverbial death in an effort to secure their first quarter final berth since 2004. “The match is like a final and only a win will do for us”, said Ramos recently.

With Liverpool striker, Fernando Torres, expected to be fully fit for the Champions League clash, the Spaniards are going to be hard-pressed to clock up a much-needed win, especially after they failed to tame the Reds at the Santiago Bernabeau in February in the first leg of the knock-out stage.

Premier bookmaker, Ladbrokes, has a wide range of betting options on this week’s UEFA Champions League action including the number of corners, correct score and to qualify. Current match betting odds for the showdown at Anfield are Liverpool 5/4, a draw 2/1 and Real Madrid 5/2.
