The Royal Ascot meeting is the best attended race meeting in the United Kingdom. Over 300,000 visitors flock to Ascot every year to take advantage of the world class spectator facilities on offer at Ascot racecourse and to soak up the atmosphere of one of the world’s most important racing events.
Royal Ascot 2008 Tickets
Royal Ascot tickets are best booked months in advance of the event. The majority of race goers attending the Royal Ascot meeting opt for the Grand Stand and Paddock Enclosures. Both offer excellent views of the racing as well as reserved seating.
A dress code is enforced in both the Grand Stand and Paddock enclosures, with men required to wear jackets and ties, whilst women are required to wear summer dresses or dress suits. General Admission tickets providing entry to these enclosures can be purchased at a cost of £45 per day.
Those attending the Royal Ascot on a budget tend to prefer the Silver Ring Enclosure. This enclosure provides a more relaxed environment to race goers with no formal dress code. Race goers have good views of the racecourse as well as access to totes, catering facilities and big screen television carrying live action from the races.
