The Totesport Bowl Chase is a grade 2 national hunt steeplechase run during the annual Grand National meeting at Aintree. The race is run over a distance of 3 miles and 1 furlong at Aintree racecourse, with competitors required to clear 19 fences during the course of the race.
The Totesport Bowl Chase is open to 5-year old and older steeplechasers. The event tends to draw entries that have previously competed in the Cheltenham Gold Cup, and is regarded as a consolation prize for horses that failed to win the Gold Cup.

The first Totesport Bowl Chase was run in 1984 and won by Royal Bond. Although the race draws runners who have participated in the Cheltenham Gold Cup, no horse has won both the Totesport Bowl Chase and Cheltenham Gold Cup in a single season.
