Grand National Sweepstake Kit

What greater way to savor the John Smith’s Grand National than to run your private office sweepstake on the event.

To view the Grand National 2010 Sweepstake kit you’ll need Adobe Reader. You in all likelihood already have it set up on your PC, but in case you don’t, you can download Adobe Reader for free.

Simply print off the Grand National Sweepstake, then cut the race horse names into individual pieces of paper, fold them and put them into a box.

Charge as much as you like per entry (or as much as individuals are inclined to pay). We suggest somewhere in the region of £1 – £5 per ticket.

Get people in the office to pay their entry fee and draw a name from the hat at random. Write down who draws which runner on the sheet of paper provided.

Make sure you trade all of the horses. If you have some left after everyone has purchased a horse see if anyone wants a 2nd or third horse. White lies such as implying the front-runner is still open are acceptable.

Obviously you’re free to divide the winnings how you want, but make sure all the money is given out in awards. We suggest you split the winnings as follows:

1st = 60%, 2nd = 25%, 3rd = 10% and 4th = 5%
