Mersey Novices’ Hurdle
The Mersey Novices’ Hurdle is a grade 2 national hunt steeplechase run at the annual Aintree Grand National Festival in April. The race is run over a distance of 2 miles and 4 furlongs at Aintree racecourse with competitors required to clear 11 hurdles during the race. Entry to the Mersey Novices’ Hurdle is restricted to 4-year old and older novices.
