Sweden haven’t had much success at the top level of football in the last half decade, missing out on the 2010 World Cup and exiting Euro 2008 in the group stages.
However, with a competitive draw that places them alongside a fractious France and an under-pressure England, with Ukraine for company, Sweden are in with a real chance of reaching the knockout rounds of the Euro 2012 tournament.

Sweden will rely heavily on their captain, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, to make headway at Euro 2012. However, they also have two decent attacking midfielders in the shape of Kim Källström and Anders Svensson, and certainly have the capacity to push the likes of France and England all the way.
If you’re looking for a straight back bet on Sweden, then the match against Ukraine would be your best option for a solid match bet. Otherwise look at laying Sweden at Betfair.
