15:40 An incredible Cheltenham Gold Cup as Kauto Star first made a bad blunder then fell out of the race. Denman has to settle for second place for the second year in a row while Imperial Commander claims top honours! Our punter suggested a faller refund bet on Kauto Star at Sportingbet and each-way punts on Imperial Commander and Denman, tips that will have scored punters a great dividend!
2010 Cheltenham Gold Cup Final Result:
1. Imperial Commander (7/1)
2. Denman
3. Mon Mome
15:20 And they are off in the 2010 Cheltenham Gold Cup.. will it be Denman or Kauto Star?

14:50 A big win for Bertie’s Dream in a chaotic race that saw two horse fall at the final hurdle. Najaf ran a good race to take second leaving Kennel Hill to take third, while Arvika Ligionierre was rewarded for a strong run with a place. These handicaps are definitely races to lay, and our punter called it right by laying Enterprise Park, although each-way bets on Tell Massini and Quel Esprit didn’t pay.
2010 AB Novices’ Hurdle Final Result:
1. Bertie’s Dream (40/1)
2. Najaf
3. Kennel Hill
4. Arvika Ligionierre
14:40 They are off in the 2010 Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle..

Read the full preview here, and consider placing your 2010 AB Novices’ Hurdle bets at Paddy Power, which is paying to 5th place in this race.
14:15 Thousand Stars scores for Willie Mullins, giving Katie Walsh another race win at Cheltenham. None of the favoured horses made the places, once again allowing the bookies to clean it up with two 100/1 long shots in the place. Our tipster advocated keeping it simple with a lay bet on the favourite, allowing us to take a profit off the second race of the day.
2010 VOB County Hurdle Final Result:
1. Thousand Stars (20/1)
2. Santa’s Son
3. Dee Ee Williams
4. Zanir

13:40 A win for Soldatino who hauled in Barizan after he’d led the race for much of the way. Antepost favourite Alaivan only manages third place while Carlito Brigante takes the final place. The race ends a day that saw Paul Nicholls claim his first feature race of the meeting with Big Buck’s. Tomorrow is a big day as Kauto Star prepares to take on Denman in the 2010 Cheltenham Gold Cup. 16:10 The gray, Great Endeavour, wins the Byrne Group Plate while SP favourite Sunnyhillboy settles for second. From Dawn To Dusk takes third while Gwanako has to settle for fourth place. 3. From Dawn to Dusk
4. Gwanako
15:40 The Byrne Plate is off…

Take note that Paddy Power is paying to 5th place for the Byrne Group Plate, and you’ll also pick up a 50 quid free bet if you sign up an account today.
15:30 Punters finally pull one back as Big Buck’s takes the 2010 World Hurdle with easy. Time for Rupert runs a good race for second place while Powerstation takes third. Our tipster stuck with Big Buck’s for this one, but lost a little on an each-way bet on Karabak who finished 4th.

14:55 Carnage in the betting markets as Alberta’s Run upsets in the Ryanair Chase and Poquelin is forced to settle for second place. J’y Vole comes out of nowhere to score for each-way backers in third place.
If you followed our tips you’d have broken even on this race with lay bets on Poquelin paying out, but bets on a disappointing Tranquil Sea failing to pay dividends.

1. Alberta’s Run (14/1)
2. Poquelin
3. J’y Vole
4. Deep Purple
14:40 And they’re off in the 2010 Ryanair Chase.
14:20 Next up is the 2010 Ryanair Chase where we like the look of Tranquil Sea. Could Voy Por Ustedes show that he’ll still got something left in him after a disappointing race in 2009 or will the Grade 1 chase produce yet another upset to line bookies pockets?
14:15 A win for David Pipe as Buena Vista surprises in the Pertemps Final, paying off backers at 18/1. Prince Erik gets second while Chamirey takes third. Alfie Sherrin never recovered from a mistake in the middle of the race, and cost us our place bets, while Smoking Aces also disappointed, coming home in 6th place.

First up on the card, however, is the 2010 Jewson Novices’ Chase where we’re looking at an each-way punt on Rivaliste. Course conditions on the New Course are good, with good to soft patches in places. The weather’s turned a bit rainy and we can expect light showers during the day.
