South Africa vs. Namibia Preview & Tips
The South African juggernaut rolls on this Thursday as the Springboks take on Namibia at the 2011 Rugby World Cup. With the Springboks virtually certain to head Group D, this amounts to a training fixture for some of the country’s key players to play themselves into form.
South Africa vs. Namibia Trends Analysis
South Africa and Namibia have met just once this decade, in a game Namibia would rather forget. On that day in 2007, South Africa flattened Namibia 107-13.
More of the same may be on the cards if South Africa’s form against Fiji was any indication. The Springboks were merciless against the islanders, playing an expansive game to blast 6 tries past the hapless Fijian defenders.
That victory left South Africa with three consecutive victories from its last five matches. The South Africans also prevented the Fijians from crossing the whitewash, once again highlighting the fact that the Boks are probably the form defensive side at the tournament.

Namibia doesn’t look like it will have any answers for South Africa on Thursday either. While they might put up a stubborn resistance against the Boks in the first quarter, they’ll mainly be trying to stop the Springboks from scoring a century of points.
