England vs. Romania Preview & Tips
England can continue its drive to top Pool B at the 2011 Rugby World Cup on Saturday when it faces Romania.
England vs. Romania Trends Analysis
England and Romania last meet in 2001, when England smashed the Romanians 134-0, in one of the most one-sided matches in test rugby history. The match was a marker of just how far Romanian rugby has fallen since its heyday in the late 1980s.
England’s World Cup is going mostly to plan, with two wins from two matches, although neither of these were as fluent as the English might have liked.
After just edging past Argentina in the first round, England struggled to subdue Georgia in the first half of their match against the Eastern Europeans, and only managed to cut loose in the second half.
