2011 Vincent O’Brien County Handicap Hurdle Preview & Tips
The Vincent O’Brien County Handicap Hurdle is the first of a string of handicaps on the final day of the 2011 Cheltenham Festival.

1. Alarazi
Alarazi has had some impressive results over hurdles this season, with two wins, two places and a third place from his five starts since November of 2010. He’s finished in the top two in his last three handicap hurdles, and seem unconcerned with the machinations of the handicapper, placing in two recent races under top weight. He’s 7/1 at Paddy Power and a handy each-way option.
2. Ski Sunday
Ski Sunday is another consistent performer, with three wins, two places and two shows from nine starts over hurdles. He’s raced just twice this season, turning his heads by winning last time out in the William Hill Handicap Hurdle – where he beat a bumper field of 16 carrying a hefty 11-11. William Hill have him at a tempting best price of 8/1.
3. Alavain
There’s not too much to separate Alavain from the other two hurdlers dominating the 2011 Vincent O’Brien Handicap Hurdle betting markets. He’s won four of his seven starts over hurdles, placed once and shown once. He’s not new to the Cheltenham Festival, having finished third in the 2010 Triumph Hurdle.
